From what I'm hearing Pardew has won manager of the season and Kompany player of the season, think they're both well deserved if I'm being honest, can't really think of anyone who would deserve it more, the only thing I find a bit weird is how Pardew didn't win any of the Manager of the Month awards yet wins the season

@mrsentah I think you'll find in johny ruddy they have an outstanding keeper who should go to the Euro's IMO and in grant hilt found a consistent goal scorer who played as the target man up front which is what you need in a physical league like the EPL - two players who would make it into other sides

Alan Pardew has been great this season he deserves all the credit he gets , when he first turned up at st James park he was questioned by all the Newcastle fans and media is he up to the job and so ... and he went into to the changing room and gave the team a immense amount of confidence and brought in some great player (credit to the scouts who spotted them out ) and i can see there being some big player going to Newcastle next season if they manage to keep there big players and not be bullied by the the top clubs in the world and there wallets

I think he deserves it just for the guts to rule himself out of the England job, even without anyone mentioning him haha

it's possible. I'm not sure whether he'd stay if a big club came after him. He has been linked with the Villa job for a while but hopefully he'll stay. He was also linked with Spurs before Hodgson was named England boss

@Posford yeah i agree just wondering do you think Lambert will be at Norwich long. I think Villa is a good match before going to a larger club

I'd have Paul Lambert purely because of how far he has taken Norwich on limited funds. From getting spanked 7-1 by Colchester he has taken them to back to back promotions, all withough breaking the bank. Incredible.

@mrsentah that's exactly the point. Lambert has taken a team with barely any premier league experience and turned them into a team that can compete with any team in the league. They've done the double on the other promoted sides which is also another sign. If you think back to the 1-1 Draw at Anfield between Norwich & Liverpool if it wasn't for John Ruddy Liverpool could of comfortably won the game by about 4 plus Grant Holt has scored more goals than Suarez or Carroll this season

Definitely Pardew, Newcastle were some peoples favourites for relegation and to have gone from that to Champions League contenders in incredible especially when you consider he wasn't very popular with the fans at first. Brendan Rogers has been good but Swansea haven't picked up many good results away from the Liberty Stadium. I'd say Paul Lambert has been excellent for us at Norwich as he's engineered a team with little and in most cases no premier league experience to one that has had big results at home such as the 4-2 defeat of Newcastle and draws with in form Everton as well as impressive away displays such as the 2-1 victory vs Spurs at the lane and the 3-3 with Arsenal. Mancini has also got to be praised for his work this season especially in dealing with Carlos Tevez

For the swans to be tipped for relegation at the start of the season and be where we are now shows how much of an amazing job Brendan has done but to be tipped for relegation at the start of the season and then be fighting for champions league places is absolutely incredible, Pardew 100% fully deserves it, fantastic manager.

Pardew fully deserves it. To finish higher than Chelsea despite selling Nolan, Barton and Carroll is remarkable. He's won over the fans, the media and most neutrals. He's done a remarkable job. Can't argue with Kompany too - he should have won all the other awards too but stupidly they were voted on before the season had ended.

Whichever way you look at it he has had a sensational season with some of the shrewdest signings. He has gone about his job with quiet assurance and understated confidence. Where things have gone wrong, he has fixed them, often in the 2nd half of the game. He deserves this - as @MJLiddell says, this is the team we thought would be in the Championship by season end. He is Newcastle's MVP!!

The obvious choice really. To do what he has done with so little funds, and a team tipped for relegation at the begining of the season, he has out shone every other manager in the league.

Pardew has definitely been confirmed as manager of the season and I think a lot of people will agree on it, hasn't managed to win a manager of the month award but has been extremely unlucky because at the same time Man City were on fire so Mancini has won instead
