Are Arsenal happy with their start to the Season?
Arsenal
Just watched the Stoke game another 0-0 game. No goals from Arsenal again. If they had RVP would things be different. They have no cutting edge.
If someone offered you two point in the first two games would you be happy?

Brilliant, following week they go up to Anfield and do mrsanterh's Liverpool 0-2. Not bad for a team with #NoCuttingEdge

I'm happy with it
@simsela Probably may have been only them 2, but I was impressed with the timing, and the Everton game would have been 0-0 because they created nothing except that half chance

@Doozers20 He scored 30-35 last season, the 'few occasions' your referring to. is Emirates vs Everton and the near post one at Anfield. Was there many more volleys from impossible angles? Doubt I've seen them all! Or just these 2? Even if Song created every other goal - they didn't come from 'nowhere'. I can understand though, when I think back to games like Arsenal vs Tottenham & Newcastle - you wonder how Arsenal would win games like that this season. Ones thing for sure try to concede less goals!!!

@simsela saw a few occasions where he had volleys from impossible angles and bagged a goal, I doubt theres anyone in the team that can time them as well, also one of the players that created a lot of chances has got off to Barca

@Doozers20 I wouldn't say he got goals from nowhere. His team created the majority of chances and he was amazing in finishing. I think the goals will be shared at Arsenal, they might not even have a striker who gets into double figures. But the new boys will chip in along with the wingers and the midfield, they can all finish - apart from Gevinho who seems to miss glorious opportunities!

two games no goals - where's that panic button??!! Obv most fans aint happy, but like, we're not angry. Just two games, team are gelling and goals will come. we wouldnt be happy drawing two games nil nil at any point throughout a season. I'd take two nil nils over a 3 nil loss to west brom haha

@liam Looks like the dude who is named after his hairstyle (Bould) has done wonders with you're defence over the summer.

I'm more impressed by our defensive display, than I'm disappointed that we've not scored

Lol. I think we were solid at the back! Organisation was key and our defence attacked every header put into out box! I did notice however, our passing game was not up to scratch when our midfield wasn't pressured hard which led to the rare counterattacks. But it's true. Our team needs to gel comfortably and in time the goals will come! Arsene just needs a strategy to playing Podolski and Giroud effectively together and this may mean a change in current formation perhaps?

Arsenal boring as usual
Yeah I agree with @slufsar . Arsenal should easily get into the top 4, with city, united and chelsea. I think they are looking like the new 'big 4', City replacing Liverpool.

fact is, Van Persie brought goals from nowhere, Everton last season is one that sticks in the mind, pretty much no chances, Van Persie bags a pearler

Let every team play 10 games and then we can compare.
Away to Stoke is super hard. Think Arsenal look very solid defensively now. They're changing a bit. Giroud, Podolski isnt completely clicking with Cazorla yet, when they do, think Arsenal will come good. CAnt see anything else than 4th tho. I cant see anything below or anything above 4th for Arsenal.

They haven't lost. They haven't let a goal in. Tough away game. They'll pick it up sooner rather than later. Not the only team to have a bad start e.g. us, Spurs, Manchester United. They did the same last year and finished 3rd. They'll be fine.
