In my opinion, Warnock seriously needs replacing as our LB at Villa. We have been linked with spurs youngster Danny Rose, is he good enough? Who do you think we should be realistically looking at?

@MB_Ktubes @avfcjonny Ollson is just like Rose in the defensive sense. He is great going forward but when defending he just backs off constantly. It cost us a few times last season, but the whole defence was $hite so no one really noticed. The muppets have said he isn't for sale at any price but he's made no secret that he wants to leave. I wouldn't be surprized to see them do a Samba sort of deal again.

Agree with the Olsson shout. As for Rose , we're looking at a season long loan. If it was a toss up for Rose or Warnock at LB id take Rose every day! Last season we did sign the young lad Enda Stevens at LB from Shamrock. He's only young but looked half decent in pre season. Again I would play him over Warnock! But I would play myself over Warnock!! Awful player
Rose was a LM in the spurs reserves/youth setup.. He's filled in at left back but signing him to be your no.3 would be a big risk! Olsson is a great shout always liked him, but I think they'll pick someone up in the championship!
Well it's a tough one because there isnt many, if any you could imagine available. I'd love to see Lichaj given the chance to make the position his own but we also have Nathan baker. I saw Rose play a couple of times last season and thought he looked quite decent with his performances and would add a bit more versatility to our left side.
if PL lays a finger on Marc Tierney or ANY Norwich player i'm gonna go ballistic! He just goes where the money's at and in this case it's Villa.

Warnock needed replacing a long time ago and Danny Rose is not a suitable replacement either, especially as he's naturally not a left back. So over this will be exposed massively when it comes to playing against quality wingers

It's a shame that Lichaj is a right back because he looks a quality player. I think Villa should go for Olsson from Blackburn. Rose is ok going foward but can't defend to save his life.

This is a very good discussion, your left back Warnock is a bum and a disgrace lol!!! I think Danny Rose is basic, Do you not have a youngster who can take his place?
