With Harry looking like heading to England, Tottenham will be on the look out for a new manager. People have been talking bout Mourinho but personally i really think that Brendan will be a good appointment with his style of play. What do you think and do you think he would make the move?

Hopefully not he is a fantastic Manager and has been a great assest to the team, possibly our best manager ever we will want to hang on to him.

Really like the boss, and the style is fantastic. Over the years we have seem so many sides come into the league and try to play this style. Usually it works for 4/5 months and then these team struggle and slide down the table. To be where they are, still winning games is an amazing achievement. I read the squad cost 8m. Clearly a top manager, I hope he stays for at least 2-3 years. Rushing into a big job too soon could ruin him.

@JimJamLFC im not sure if he would demand the respect at a club like Spurs. In Swansea he doesn't have to deal with massive egos, whereas in Spurs here are many players who have an ego.

Brendan is a top bloke, really like him, in his interviews he always comes out as a nice guy. He makes his team pass and move. That's key to his success, he deserves a bigger club, no disrespect to Swansea which is a good club but could you blame him if went for spurs?

I think it will be Mou, because he has made if quite clear that he wants the United job at some point, and if he goes to City, I don't think he'd ever be able to do it. It would just be weird.

There are only two clubs I can see Mourinho going after Madrid are Chelsea if he can't sort it out with Abramovich & City cos Mourinho would love paying billions to take Ronaldo, Ozil, Ramos tc to City & make himself a god there too!

@walshi1987 very true the most money they pay their players is £80,000. Mourinho must be on like 130,000+ and to leave Madrid for a Just about top 4 team in a terrible area aint really desirable

hasn't Rogers just signed a new 3 year deal at Swansea so presumably that rules him out? Also Mourinho to Spuds has given me a great laugh for today. No chance. Not big enough, & not enough money

Nope him and Swansea work. It wont work with Spurs, he just wouldnt have enough time or any room for error. Spurs would look elsewhere me thinks

Come on surely Pearce has to get dropped out, he's a terrible manager. He is really ####! Please FA don't hire him, but knowing the FA he'll get a 5 year deal with 8 mill a year

I don't think the fa will get rid of Pearce though and i dunno if harry will work without Kevin bond and joe Jordan with him.

There are others I would like to see (mourinho, rijkaard, hiddink) but wouldn't be against us trying rogers. With a bigger budget and better players to work with, he should do well, Harry has got a massive decision to make first, I dunno if I would take the England job right now. The fa are trying to control it too much and I know Harry will miss the day to day work

@Harrysaccountant I assume you are happy with Bredan at Spurs?

I don't care if he has just signed a new contract, it just means the compensation has an extra zero on it, if spurs came knocking surely he wouldn't turn it down, think he would do well at spurs, plays from the back and likes to keep the ball
