Daniel Agger
Liverpool are willing to part ways with the Danish centerback for a minimum of 25mil bid. Man City are going as high as 18mil. you paid 22mil for Lescott I think Agger is miles better. looks like Liverpool are keeping the Great Dane!

Too injury prone to be paying 25 million for him, too much of a risk imo

I have no evidence but its my belief Agger will sign a new deal with Liverpool in the coming weeks. Agger is sporting a new tattoo on his knuckles after all which say YNWA

@lucas21 check it up mate he said he is unable to travel as he is injured! Then nxt day his agents says he doesn know what rogers is on about as he is fit..
@Delooney88 Rodgers didnt say he was injured, he wanted to rest him so that he wouldn't become injured, cuz he wasn't at full fitness. I don't think he will leave and won't think so till it happens.
I think Agger may be gone this window. Just a feeling based on the agents comments about fitness and BR on any player for the right price
@lucas21 what kind of msg does it give of when your manager publicly states hes willing to sell you..you are a liverpool fan and rate him unbelievably high so picture fergie comin out and publicy sayinh he'l sell valencia(a player i rate highly) for the right price dont think it will ever happen..there is def unrest there bcos his agent came out last week and said he was fit when rogers said he was injured!!
@MB_Ktubes true, but then again I wouldn't mind having the old Torres back, then we'd actually score lol. But yeah that was great business, my thing with agger is 25 is too small, I wouldn't consider less than 30, and I'd definetely try to force it to 35, I know he's only a CB, but he's a fricken monster.
If Citeh offer £25m I think Liverpool should at least consider it. They should be able to get a top replacement for that. But if I was Agger I wouldn't leave because he is more or less guarenteed a start at Liverpool whereas at Citeh he'd be one of three players fighting for two spots.

Ppl never consider the players wishes, agger has said he never will play for another EPL team, he's staying My guess is he will get a new contract by the end of summer.
@Italian_celt67 that's just a matter of opinion. I prefer Lescott of Agger.

You have got to think tactically. Yes, we have had the first year of Agger and Skrtel as a partnership and it was working but where did we finish in the league? Although the defense is almost there we struggled elsewhere. I think if Agger was to go we could get a very good deal out of City e.g. player + cash and then look abroad to get a new centre-back if one isn't included in the deal. I would love if Agger was to stay but if he left for the right price then I would be content.

Liverpool should sell him for 18m and buy titus bramble for 22m!!
Agger would be a good buy, don't see him getting in ahead of Kompany and Lescott though.
