Lots of people talking about him being this amazing football player and has been linked with Chelsea and City but is he really that good? I personally dont think he is worth what people say i.e. £90 million. Is he really as good as everyone thinks?

He is a good player, no doubt and having watched him play recently am impressed. He does seem to spend lots of time on the deck clutching himself - very unhulkish. Maybe he ain't been angry enough lately....

just go an look at some of the goals he has scored. hes a world class striker, as evidenced by his returns. The €90m thing is a release clause, no different from Thiago Alcantara having a €50m clause and he plays for Barca 'B' a lot.

@TheWaxOff I agree! mourinho is the main man! For me wheat whenever I see Hulk play he never really has me on the edge of my seat. He's quick strong and has got a fierce shot but he seems more aw that anything else. I may be wrong but that's my observation of him from what I've seen...

I've not seen him play properly but heard big things about him & stats wise he would appear to be great... Can anyone confirm what his strengths are? What does he bring to the team or is it just his goals????

Seems to bottle it sometimes if you ask me. A bit like Leavezzi/Suarez, impressive, but not effective enough.

I don't really know. S'pose it'll depend how badly whoever it is wants him. For me he's twice as good as someone like Downing for example. So does that make him worth £40m? He'll def go for over £20m, probably around the fee for Suarez would be realistic to Chelski or City.

There is no way he's worth his buy out clause. But it's not his fault its that high, just Porto protecting their asset. I don't really know what to make of him. Whenever i've seen him in europe he looks solid but not world class. He is one of Porto's star players along with Kleber & Moutinho. But Brazilian, Japanese & Portugese leagues are totally different to the premiership. Whether he can cut it in the Prem is another matter.

I can't look at price tags though, teams see their star players and want to keep them. Then they see how much people are willing to pay so they hike it up. I don't look at price tags.
