If you're bored have a quick read of Joeys tweets in the last 20 minutes.... What are your thoughts on what he has said? Was it a personal vendetta against Barton from Hughes? If so i don't understand why they wouldn't have let Barton resign from his contract like he says he offered?

Just stated that he definitely wants to leave the club and he isn't the sort of player to sit out on his contract and not play football. Off to France for good? Would any of you be happy with your club snapping Joey up ?

Thoughts?

@irish_swans I think he's off to france for sure though, he keeps ending his tweets with bonne nuit ( french for good night incase u didnt no) so maybe hinting at the fact his future lies in france

@LawrenceQPR23 doubt any club in the prem would want him after given a free transfer from newcastle to qpr and now qpr whant to get rid of him and for free if he wants to stay in england then he'l have to go down to the championship

@mrsentah Yeah i know, but i honestly believe barton when he says he just wants to play football... so i'm sure he would take a pay cut, but maybe not low enough for teams to be inticed to sign up! He is a risk anyway without high wages in the mix

@irish_swans Yeah i don't think he is much good around the club atm, we know he don't have a future at QPR so best just shipping him off permanently as soon as possible.... Wonder if he will stay in the prem

I feel slightly sorry for him. On footballing ability alone he would walk into your team. Will be a good signing for whoever he ends up playing for.

Agree he's a good player when he stays calm but he never does so he will never become anything great, Clever guy though autobiography will be worth a read

Saw this comment on sky sports... made me laugh 'Barton will be well suited in Marseille. They play on Sundays over there and as he is a Sunday league player he'll fit in perfectly. Never has the term 'good riddance to bad rubbish' been more apt. '

If he can keep his head he's not a bad player to have in your team better crosser than a lot out there. Actually liked him at toon really think it depends on players around him wether he behaves or let's himself down

I'd have him on loan not permanently couldn't trust him with a long contract would send him back if he was acting to big for his boots!

There was a Rumour about him coming on loan to Celtic but I wouldn't want him there to be honest

Yeah ofcourse get the wage bill down, i'd say joey would just want to terminate all ties with QPR after the way he has expressed 'enough is enough' kind of thing! Maybe he would prefer a permanent deal away somewhere...

You'd be happy to get his wages of the books IMO. Cant see it happening though. He'll go on loan for a few seasons
