First home game and Rodgers need to make a good impression. We need to come out all guns blazing. I think a point would be an achievement against the Champions. City will want to prove themselves though after a slightly dissapointing game against Southampton. I'd take a draw at this stage but it isn't going to be easy by any stretch.

Liverpool can beat anyone at Anfield but Man City is a different proposition. I thinks you lot need a game like this to kick start the season after the last game.

hopefully Enrique will be back. Gerrard can't be as poor as he was at Brom. Liverpool at Anfield will improve, atmosphere should be electric for the first premier league home game against City. hope we will just edge by City. Suarez NEEDS to take any chance he gets. can't afford to be wasteful.
See the defence being a problem for liverpool, i could see another loss on the cards, narrow though by a goal! Liverpool can't give away first goal
