Luka Modric set to move to La Liga Champions, Real Madrid.

Confirmed today on Twitter that Spurs have started negotiations with Real Madrid over a move for playmaker Luka Modric. The fee however; depends on what you read. Some day £32million, others, £28million + Sahin; whilst another report claims it might even be £14million + Kaka. However, what is confirmed is that he is in talks with Madrid and what is likely is that he will move to the Spanish capital this Summer. What do you think, good or bad move? & Does this also spell the end of other Spurs stars such as Van der Vaart & Bale?

Don't shoot the messenger! I'm just saying, it is confirmed that Real Madrid have started negotiations for him, so they obviously feel that he could fit in alongside Ozil. & @MB_Ktubes Sahin would leave, played minimal games this season and will get even less next season!

Sahin has just got there it won't be him. Too overcrowded and Ozil is a much better player. Chelsea would be a better move, Lampard is on his last legs, Essien might as well not have any the amount of time he has played last 2 seasons, Meireles and Mikel aren't gamechangers. I can see Chelsea if I'm honest.

That deal would not work out. He's just like Ozil in his style of play and I'd go with Ozil over Modric all day long.

Interesting..... I'd love to see where he'll play but the thought of Ozil and Modric is terrifying! thing we all knew once spurs failed to make champions league it would be the end for them.

well now spurs need some manager as quick as it gets,on whom players can believe they can get to play the top notches of europe and this move seems to be a really good one for real. sahin hasn't played much and kaka can be sold.

Interesting. I wonder if Modric will start at Real Madrid. He will have real competition to be in the starting 11 for the first time in his top flight career.
