Replacement for Modric
Luka Modric
Who would be a good enough replacement for Modric if he goes. One that would actually go to Spurs and one they are willing to pay for/can afford. The perfect player I think would be Cabaye but I think they'd be priced out of a move for him and Newcastle aren't in a much worse position to Tottenham anyway, or could they look to promote from within i.e. Huddlestone and one of the younger players enabling them to get better quality in other positions

Well hudds is a defo. If he can recapture his form after injury and come back a little more mobile we then have our replacement. I think the hard job is finding someone that will complement hudds in the midfield. A baller mixed with a hard worker. Could pair hudds and parker with Sandro as a dmc
@brightside_94 hahahaha, happens to the best of us matey

@CameronDuell I agree buddy !
In my opinion Modric does not do near enough to merit the fees being talked about, AVB will bring in someone like Moutinho, someone who knows his methods and has seen them work
@mrsentah an not really sure, it's going to be very hard for them if he does go to replace a player that good
@lukecass30 who do u think they could sign?
I think Tottenham would be lost with out Modric, very hard to replace
@Charlton
i didn't check his age in FM.

@CAREFREEE like I said if they were to use Huddlestone/Sandro/Livermore there I reckon they'd need to buy more quality players in different positions

@MB_Ktubes I'm not saying Huddlestone is bad just that he's not as good, Sigurdsson seemed to play in the role played by Van der vaart when at Swansea and I don't think Livermore will be as good as Modric next season

@Doozers20.. Huddlestone is a great player. Most underated in the Spurs team. His shot is lethal, he can tackle and can power through the midfield. He is similar to Yaya Toure in his style. Sigurdsson has been brought to replace him and you can't say that Livermore couldn't be greater than Modric because he has only just come into the team.

@MB_Ktubes I'd say Sigurdsson plays more advanced and Huddlestone and Livermore are no Modric so they'd need better players in other positions

Sigurdsson, Huddlestone and Livermore can all do that job.

@brightside_94 jenas good for the future? im confused, is that a serious comment or are you taking the ####?

Jermain Jenas seems to be good for the future.Presently Joao Moutinho is a better choice but looks like Porto isn't accepting to sell him so the other good player would be Montolivo(if he's available)
