All you Newcastle fans thinking your class because you had one good season! Williams is a quality player and still has years to play. You would be lucky to sign him
I am so disappointed with this news, if we want to match/improve on last season we have to move forward not backwards, if he ain't better than what we got, an to be fair we ain't all that at the back, bar collo none of our defenders would get into any team in the top 10. Why sign him. We SHOULD be signing players like Dubuchy, remy and huntelaar etc. totally disappointed with talk of signing Williams and Mandy carolls ! Step back if u ask me
Williams is a decent player but there's something about him that makes me think he's slightly overrated. I dunno if it's just me but in a couple of Wales games he's looked nervous with his touches.

i dont really rate this guy - apparently has done well but thought Cisse and Ba showed him up to be sluggish. Willams should be 3rd choice with Williamson 4th
