Zlatan have been League champion every season since he moved from Malmö FF to Ajax for over 8 million euros! he won the goalleague in Serie A his last year in Inter and have shown he´s incredeble skills lot´s of times in Erdevise, Serie A and La liga. I know he have not been so great while playing against english teams but it´s not long ago he scored 2 goals agains Arsenal on Emirates before the idiot Pep took him out and Arsenal came back. So my cuestion is, why can´t you see it?

@RevRamsey Good point. I only watch La Liga but I know Serie A & Bundesliga are on ESPN & ITV4 (I think). Don't have a clue about Ligue 1...

'Why can´t the people of Britain see the greatness of Zlatan Ibrahimovíc?' - French league is rarely on English tele.

@maresh Acually he is one of the most charismatic players I know, different from everyone else I know. Maybe not been mentioned as a World player of the year, but he has always been high up in the rankings. His goalscoring record are great, but he makes massive amounts of assists aswell. IMO he is a class player even tho he might be incosistent in the big games.

@slufsar nope it's not against Man United but there have been league & european games I've watched and expected some sort of impact on the game which he never does!!! Yes he has a good goal scoring record and if you give him time he'll punish but when you put it on him from what I've seen he goes hiding. IMO its not always about goals especially the way he's talked about it natural for me to see something special that differentiate him from any other player. All the other top names in football I can but never with him plus why isn't his name mentioned when it comes to European & World player of the year??? mad he's been around long enough now not to be over looked surely?

@maresh So a "Big game" means a game against Man United?? Oh Really? He was match winner in El Classico and that backheel that sent Sweden through to the quarters of the Euroes in 2004 were magical.

When Zlatan plays for you, you win a trophy, you just do. Stats don't lie.

The thing is..... why does he never turn up to the big games? So many times when he should put on a show he never does but will score so many goals against small teams!!

@w0rkbench He is both a great goalscorer and a scorer of great goals. He has 22 goals this season for Club and country + a fair share of assists.

Zlatan is not a great goalscorer, he is a scorer of great goals.

I think it's becuase he isn't exactly an all action player. You won't see him chasing every ball played in and around him or going on runs with the ball. Like @slufsar said he can be lazy at times but put the ball at his feet and he makes things happen. He reminds me of Berbatov who isn't exactly liked by fans of clubs other than whoever he is playing for.

Whhat I will say though is Mourinho once said that Ibrahimovic is the best player hes seen. He said Ronaldo is amazing but Ibrahimvic is the best for him

He killed Arsenal yesterday and I wasn't surprised. You can't put Ibrahimovic up agaisnst players like Djorough. He will kill him everyday. It's safe to say that Vermalen didn't have the best of game switcher so Arsenal struggled defensively. They played right into his hands for me.

I think we all know how good he is ability wise but I do think his time at Barcelona didnt doh Him any justice. Some great goals but he had so many laboured performance at Barcelona. No one has ever doubted his ability but not sure if ive seen it enough or as consistent as I would have liked.

This guy has always been amazing. Might be a bit of a lazy child sometimes. But usually he is top class.
