Hybridism commented on 12 Manchester United Players need to go

Don't see how changing 12 players is going to make United better in the short/medium term. The squad isn't a bad one, they are just playing bad. Sure, change some on the list (Fabio, Nani, Smalling, Fellaini) and retire two (Giggs & Ferdy) - but that ManU were best last season and then really bad this one ain't because of the squad's lack of abilit... - 5 years

Hybridism commented on Massive Job

Yeah I think Malkay is primed for the job - to Cardiffs detriment. Some clubs need to take a leaf out of the new Liverpool handbook and give managers a chance to build and develop their teams; and accept that a successful formula is not normally achieved overnight or even in a season. Is it strange that a poor performing footballer will get more ti... - 5 years

Hybridism commented on Do I spend £50 on ManUtd to win the Prem or a fat xmas turkey?

Turkey was truly succulent and I avoided the sprouts again this year, but ManU are promising a revival - albeit a sluggish one against Norwich. C'mon United c'mon!!!!!... - 5 years

Hybridism commented on Liverpool are top of the Premier League at Christmas

Big Props to Liverpool - last season they didn't have a hope! This season they actually look like a team can win the Prem and they are good to watch at last - Brendan Rodgers has done an excellent job bringing the team to where it is (aside from the Suarez element)....... - 5 years

Hybridism commented on Arsenal v Chelsea - Massive game!

Chelsea to win 3-2 is the score I want.... - 5 years

NEW POST   Hybridism added Do I spend £50 on ManUtd to win the Prem or a fat xmas turkey?

Someone help me out! I got to choose by 23rd Dec....the fat xmas turkey sounds tempting (if only to keep me in the good books at home). I don't normally bet on footy, but odds at 22/1 means just over a grand if ManU win. We're 10 points off the lead and not performing well at the mo, but both ManU and Moyes are known for improving in the second hal... - 5 years

Hybridism commented on Is Moyes under pressurr?

@Doozers 20 I don't wanna see Fergie back, not like this, he left with a halo. Am just reporting the latest gossip and bookie news. If I can read it so can Moyes...... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Martinez does what Moyes couldn't

Lol, that's a bit unfair, less than 8 months ago that same team won the EPL. Can a few months change the ability/performance/mindset of a team that has delivered consistently for years?... - 6 years

Sell him to Wenger, he likes to develop young talent. Beg the Gunners a swap for a decent midfielder - they have some of the best........ - 6 years

Hybridism commented on The genius of King Luis Suarez

He did do good and could've got more. Always rated his skill on the ball, he is one of those players who have a raw obsession with football.... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Bendtner to Madrid/Barca?

I think you accurately summed up the 'talent' that is NoClass Bendtner. Really do not see him being taken seriously in any first team. Shamakh is better - sometimes... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Who is one player you want to see do better at your club, who was brought in over the summer?

Expected more from Fellaini, especially as we spent so much on him and he was a 1st pick transfer by Moyes. You'd think he would be able to add that extra oomph.... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Should kagawa playing the no. 10 role?

Kagawa is talented, but he isn't the first pick No10 in a team like ManU. He does have a lot to offer, but there are plenty of other ways to play him and keep him effective.... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Do you believe Arsenal can win the league yet?

Arsenal are firing on all cylinders and full of confidence. Wenger was the subject of abuse last season, but has his team sorted at last. Other teams have maybe not performed as well as expected, but that is not an excuse. Can they do it all season and win? I dunno......, ok I'll say no, but that is just my gut feeling.... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Newcastle doing well

They were clever to get Remy on loan, after all the last time they excelled they had Cisse and Ba. Remy seems like a man on a mission - his goal bonus must be huge and his performance has invigorated Newcastle.... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on #rodgersout

Rodgers clearly has another season in him at the club. If they give him the space he needs to develop the team they may get top 5 next season and start a real resurgence. Good luck to him, he is delivering the goods right now....... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Martin Jol finally sacked

Jol will have another job by January. May not be in the Prem, but I doubt he is too bothered. Judging by his 'even sadder' expression at his last match, he clearly wanted to get out.... - 6 years

NEW POST   Hybridism added Who is anonymous footballer?

Was watching channel 4 news last night (18/11/2013) and saw interview with a mystery footballer who had inside info on the beautiful game. Was interesting and he seemed quite articulate and said he was still in the game, but who was he? Any ideas....  ... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Moyes - Still trying to break the top 6!!?!

So true @Rafael95. I did think we would be at least 6th. But at this point in the season there is only 22 points earned by the current temporary Prem leaders, so we are just 8 points off the top and in 8th place. If the was March/April, I'd be more worried about our chances of recovering 8 points and/or being back in top 4. Of course, I'd be gutt... - 6 years

Hybridism commented on Rise of the cockneys?

London living may be more attractive to many players, but with the level of regeneration planned in key cities North of London, it is evident that London will remain the primary financial centre in the UK, but maybe not focal point for social/lifestyle. Plus, the footballing legacy of many clubs outside of London will remain attractive to real foot... - 6 years
