Martin-Parr commented on Glasgow fans, how good is this guy?

It looks like he will disappear with Rangers to the depths of Scottish Football then next year. We may never see either again lol... - 7 years

Martin-Parr commented on The real problem with English football is that Baines will cost £15-20 million!

I think you have a point, Home grown players have inflated prices compared to lets face it, some better options on the continent. it not only puts English cllubs of buying english talent but also completely rules out a top european club from trying to temp english lads abroad.... - 7 years

Martin-Parr commented on Daily Arsenal...Talk Sport

I think he is on the show to deliberately be that way, they plan in the day how outragious he is going to be and he is always the bad cop with gough the good cop... - 7 years

NEW POST   Martin-Parr added Glasgow fans, how good is this guy?

He has been touted as a prospect for sometime but how good is he really? Rangers and SPL fans will have seen more from him of late so I ask your honest opinion. He has not yet been capped at U21 level for England, which is worrying, so realistically will he ever break into Arsenals 11 or indeed any other EPL clubs 11? Or is he destined for lower l... - 7 years

I listen every day and think this topic is Quality, Ady Durham knows how to rile you gunners, however he makes some valid points. Id like to know first hand from Gunners fans on here how excited you are about the up and coming campaign, are you still filled with confidence and put your trust in arsene? Have the linked players been guys that fill... - 7 years

Martin-Parr commented on Holding Midfielder

Sandro is a good shout, he got stuck in in Europe games and looked a dominant force at times, could do a good job.... - 7 years

Diego ex Werder Bremen player? he was quality back then in Europe, he looked really dangerous, what has happened gone wrong is he is a freeby now?... - 7 years

NEW POST   Martin-Parr added Holding Midfielder

In one of my other discussions we got talking about United midfield for next season and all the ATTACK minded players being linked with the club which raised the question, "How many do you need and what about solving the problem we have with the lack of defensive/holding midfield options" With Fletcher's health an uncertainty, we are left really wi... - 7 years

Martin-Parr commented on Bargain Buy

Who do you fancy as a Holding midfielder? I cant say I have seen a lot out there that stand out. Tiote does a good job at Newcastle but will they want to let him go. Moutinho is a cracking little player but not sure if he can do the holding role, he is more a deep lying playmaker, dictates the speed of play etc. I liked the look of Frimpong believe... - 7 years

Martin-Parr commented on Man Utd Transfer Updates

I would like to see Moutinho at United next season. I think it was a shame with the difficulties we had in midfield last year that Morrison and Pogba werent given some game time. But Im on the outside looking in, if Sir A could see a problem with attitude/ability etc then that could explain it.... - 7 years

@TheDannyGordon Cheers Danny, its good to hear from someone that has seen first hand week in week out what he is capable of. I am certainly going to make and effort to see his progress, ok he may never be England no1 whilst the awsome Hart is around but he sounds like he has the potential to be an excellent stand in and who knows, if a top 4 club c... - 7 years

NEW POST   Martin-Parr added Help to review this guy....

Having heard the news of Forster's transfer I was keen to find out a little bit more about this guy. Looking at his stats, hes a man mountain at 6ft7", he has well over 100 appearances under his belt at the age of 24, including a title win, a cup win and Europa league experience. How good is this guy? and equally could he challenge Hart for England... - 7 years

Martin-Parr commented on Van Persie announces his future

My thoughts exactly, he is a risk re injuries and i dont think large sums of mon ey are going to be thrown at Arsenal for him. Clubs may offer low and if not accepted see how he performs next year, if he 1) can bang in the same volume of goals and 2) stay injury free.... - 7 years

NEW POST   Martin-Parr added Lucas Moura....is he all that???

Does anyone know much about this lad and if so is he all that? im worried when I hear we are linked with a £30m, yes 30 big ones for a 19 year old prospect. Is it not all just hype that rockets the transfer value? Surely we have some young English talent in our ranks that given half the chance, and game time would prob do just as well. Coming from a Man Utd fan, I think it is a pointless move for Ba, he would be better off remaining in Newcastle as player for player in the starting line up at present, I think Newcastle has the better team.... - 7 years
