baffling decison, didnt c wat he dun, just shows the state of the game at the minute. if the FA are goin to do this they need to keep it consistant at all times. As for previous comment pity he didnt get gerrard could have broke his at his age now

######## that he's got a ban, it wasn't even clear cut, where as Crouch's and Lescotts were, didnt say RVP so cant say for that one. I would have no argument if it was for the one against Liverpool tbh, he was lucky to get away with that

im opening up this thread again - having seen a fair bit of him - he looks a brilliant player for newcastle - and a throw back for me to the team of 92-96 . He reminds me of ...and i cant seem to nail it down but seems to be a combination of or one of - scott sellars, gary speed or rob lee with his passing and his vision . He is really assured on the ball and has a terrific temperant and range of passing especially sending the ball to the wing. What do you guys make of him?

I think it's wrong to say he's our best player. Maybe he's our best midfielder but when people say Messi is the best player in the world that makes no sense to me. Because surely hes not the best centre-back there is. He's the best right winger or whatever yes. Cabaye is a quality buy and I hope he will do well this season. Just have to hope he stays in form and finds his feet properly over here.

The guy is an excellent footballer, over on a board i use i have mentioned him numerous times when fans have basically doomed Newcastle after selling Nolan, along with the Barton situation saying you have nothinh else to offer. Being a keen follower of other leagues ive seen enough of Cabaye to know what quality he has, i have told them that they may not of heard of him but come the end of the season they will have, and im sure there will be interest instantly from other clubs...

@mjh12345 Yeah totally agree doubt that managers do but it gets you thinking tho' I have had my fair share of amazing players that have turned out #####....Freddy Adu ring any bells?....Just search this guy in Youtube and look at the tribute videos....do that with most players to see what they are about.

That sounds promising @MB_Ktubes You might think it sounds daft saying he's good in fifa, but its amazing how we often find good juniors coming through in Pro Evo and Fifa. I remember Aguero a few years back and look at him now.
