3rd Best Player

I'm guessing Ribery? But I'm willing to hear other opinions.

I love Ronaldo. I hope that they will get a Golden Globe this year. In that case. I would be proud to have his football shirt http://www.footballtshirtuk.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2396 .

Interesting no one mentioned Robben, Lewandowski. And only one mention of Suarez

@jimbo1984 mine too, then again though in a few seasons time Ronaldo will begin to lose his pace, which they may try to replace with Bales.

@Doozers20 in my opinion they didn't need bale, ozil was a better fit

@jimbo1984 Yeah a forward. if him and bale can get on some sort of wavelength it will frightening all that pace and power just picking up space wherever

Though I think they lost the perfect foil in ozil. Isco may be it though not seen much of him

Best description is simply a forward

@jimbo1984 probably but his best season of say he played a good chunk on the left and he's played near enough 90% of his games there for real

To be fair though I wouldn't put a position on Ronaldo. He goes where he likes

@Doozers20 id argue that roughly 70% of Ronaldo's united games were from the right..

@Posford early years he did but later on mostly left

@Doozers20 but he played right wing for United... right?

Doozers20 · Man Utd fan   In reply

@Posford Ronaldo has always played left wing... And Bale played behind the striker last season for Spurs.

@Rafael95 I think Bale needs time to prove he was worth the price tag. He has struggled with injuries since arriving at Real and he isn't at his best because of this fact. Also, Real need to play him in his correct position on the left of midfield where most of his Spurs goal came from although Ronaldo plays there now for some weird reason. Barca play Neymar in his best position and so should Real with Bale. Give him two months or so and I think we'll the see the best of him again

@Posford On the other hand. Bale didnt prove he was worth half his price tag.

I have to give a shout-out to Neymar. The guy has been brilliant. Everyone said he would flop in Europe and he proved everybody wrong. And you dont score 176 goals for Santos & Brazil (2009-2013) out of luck

Iniesta for me although it is a really close competition. I could easily give that honour to Ribery, Ibrahimovic, Bale or Luis Suarez

@Italian_celt67 el sharaaahawaythelads? you serious? to show how silly this is, i saw an article on talksport last week linking liverpool with a move for him. now, obviously it's a bullshiit story, but the fact that someone even contemplated linking him to the team that has finished 7th, 8th, 7th and 6th in the premier league in the last 4 years and then actually posted it on a website like that suggests that he is not anywhere near the 3rd best player in the world.

Always been iniesta for me. but then again i don't watch the likes of ibra, robben, falcao and ribery very often so i couldn't really comment on them. the way they've played over the last 2 years suarez and van persie have to be contenders too surely?

Ibrahimovic or maybe cavani

I'd go for Iniesta. Never gets amazing credit like Messi or Ronaldo but take him out of Barca or Spain & there's a huge difference.
