Angel Di Maria does not look happy to be at United.

Since Di Maria's arrival at United i have noticed he does not look very happy. At the news conference with LVG he just looked lost and out of place. Most players look excited to join a club they want to be at but I did not see that with Di Maria.

@releasethekraken he played in midfield in the system and did well, I thought United did pretty well against Burnley, created a few chances and should have scored, could easily have had 2 penalties too.

No wonder, i bet he didn't really want to leave madrid and at this stage a truly desperate united were the only ones who could afford him. he's a fantastic player, but i don't really see where he fits in this united team tbh, (and it goes without saying that 59 million for him is mental). especially if van gaal persists with this rubbish 3-5-2. suppose he gives them the pace and skill that they lack, who else in the squad can run past players like he can? but anyway, united are so diabolical right now that even he can't save them. van gaal really needs to bin this 3-5-2.

@crackentone You missed off what he said at the end of the sentence, he said 'when he heard United were in for him, it was the only club he wanted to go to,' now I'm not naive, I'm sure he'd have said that at whatever club he was to go to, but to me he was sounding like he was trying to make it so it looked like he didn't have a bad attitude and demanded to leave, though I'm sure if Real would have showed him that they wanted him, he would still be there.

@Doozers20 I take on board you saying i never have anything positive to I just call it as i see it. Herrera and Rojo looked very happy to be joining United Rojo expressed his feelings that he wanted to join United. Angel di Maria said he did not want to leave Real Madrid but he had no choice. PSG dropped out and Bayern Munich showed no interest probably due to his huge transfer and wage demands. So that only left United and regarding the party hat and whistle. at least it would have shown he was happy joining one of the biggest clubs in the world.

PS I will try to be more positive in future forum debates.....LOL LOL LOL.
Slan go foil.....Bye for now.

Do you ever say anything positive? Or even optimistic?

I just watched the press conference, he looks no different than any other player. What do you want? I'll buy him a party hat and a whistle. Should he jump around? You want United to sign players, they buy and you don't like the way they look at press conferences.

Noone had a knife to their throat, if they didn't want to come they wouldn't have. If United didn't want him I'm sure another team would have.
