Big Pond Small Fish - Can Sinclair survive?

Like him or loathe him Sinclair's move to ManCity may not have been to his benefit. Barely able to get a game, the Swans 'golden boy' who became infamous for his obvious and relentless use of the step-over; has now been relegated to the training ground where Balotelli uses him for his step-over practice. He is not the only case that comes to mind in recent years. But is it all bad? Or do too many players in Sinclairs position sink before they can swim???

@slufsar I heard he has to buy his own season ticket

I wouldn't have him back at the swans. He struggled last season and didn't shine so he wouldn't get in the team now. Man city needed an English player and he wanted the money, only a few seasons back he said he went to the swans coz he needed regular playing time... Guess he doesn't need that now seeing as he has a fat pay check and can move back to his mrs home city of Manchester

Onky reason city bought him is because of this new rule that you have to have a certain amount of home grown players on the books, so why not buy a youngster who could possible become good. Personally I still love him and would have him back at the Swans within a heartbeat! He's scotty Sinclair!!!!!

His career, he knew what he was getting into when he signed the contract. All well and good having a nice booster contract and a lovely house in a remote estate in audley edge with a beautiful girlfriend but he has to remember how he got all those material products, from football. Which he isnt playing anymore

@slufsar you still frickingfunny as ever. He is no way an Adam Johnson, who I now rate since he left ManCity. But as for Sinclair he is back in a blue jersey and remains a dejected figure. Am not sure if he will get a game as I think Mancini will buy a better option in this window.

@Hybridism I always expected him to become another Adam Johnson, an impact sub, but oh lord this is ten times worse. Has he even played a second yet?

He'll go on loan next year an get city to pay most of his wages, such a blatant money grabber. Saddens me.

He must have known that he was gonna warm the bench, surely he couldn't believe he was first pick amongst a squad like theirs. Maybe he has future potential in Mancini's eyes.....and maybe not.

Should know his own limits, couldn't do it at Chelsea and can't at Man city

Hes better off getting out of there and going somewhere like Everton where he has a chance for fighting for a starting place or even West Brom there doing well this year

It's funny that you can't even change Sinclair's RYP picture because we haven't seen him in a City shirt.

Probably along the same lines as Milner, Sinclair, will always be in the backup squad, and not feature unless star players can not be bought or get injured. Being cynical he was probably brought in as a British based player to make up the quota required.

He went to City because the head scout was keen on him from when they were at Chelsea together.

He was just going to $hiteh to make up the numbers. If he had any real potential, Rodgers would have brought him to Liverpool.
