Can Man Utd get in the top 4?

After a fifth loss in 15 games can Man Utd still win the league? I can't remember the last time Man Utd had lost back to back games in the league and it could get worse in the next few months. What's your opinions? Will they do it?

Not really. Both Merseyside clubs are far more consistent

@tatendatdawg my point was United aren't much further behind, so it helps in that way.

Yes of course they can

In short, no, they can't win the league especially as Arsenal may go 7 points clear of everyone come tomorrow. United are only 5 points above Norwich which says a lot. Top 4 is still a possibility if they get a good run of games going but now I think they are too far off the pace

United haven't lost 3 back-to-back games for an even longer period of time I think

How can the fans get behind them when they play that ####.. You know what it's like at a game.. If you're watching players constantly give the ball away and your team create nothing, you're gonna be ###### off

@MB_Ktubes I don't see an amazing amount of Fergies United there though, not a great deal of adventure, even when down United aren't throwing players forward.

@Doozers20 I think he's trying to play the Fergie way and is afraid to change it up a little which is perhaps where he's going wrong. Only Fergie knew what he was doing with that team so trying to replicate it is nearly impossible. Partly down to him being nervous, partly down to the players not performing and partly down to the fans not showing support to him.

@MB_Ktubes he's making daft decisions (easy to say from my home), but I thought his subs were good today, the players are stiff and passing is awful, whether that's to do with fan pressure, the manager, themselves, whatever, something needs to change... Was the same in the period between 2003-2005 when United were in their last real period of transition, the football was absolutely diabolical they were just lucky enough that there were only really two/three teams that were any good.

@Doozers20 Not surprised but we've had it with Liverpool, the season we dropped out of the top four we went through the same thing. The fans need to do their part. I think that Moyes can't get away with some of the things Fergie used to do because he doesn't have the fan's trust yet.

@MB_Ktubes speaking to a couple of people who were at the game today, and witnessing it myself wednesday, the atmosphere is massively negative around Old Trafford now, which will effect the players mentality too, they need to step up and be strong, but the fans need to be getting behind them.

Yeah like @Doozers20 said results have helped them today. It's still achievable but something's got to change. Need to step it up and bring in some talent who will make a difference. Moyes doesn't have the ability to get the best out of certain players at the right time.

I misread that thought it said title, yes United can still get top 4, Chelsea and City both dropped points today as well which helps

No of course not, they are shambolic. Last time United lost back to back I think was in 2011 christmas time.
