Liverpool have lost there bite up front

Liverpool or Liverhampton as they shall be known by me for this season have lost there bite, there one world class player they had and there top goal scorer. And who have they replaced him with? Rickie Lambert haha. Liverpool will also find this season harder because they will have to play twice a week. And I question if they've got the quality in depth in there squad to cope with the PL and CL. They have plenty of squad fillers but not enough quality squad players. Last season they had midweeks off which gave them a massive advantage. Honest prediction I think Man U will return to the top 4 this season and Liverpool will drop out of the top 4 without Suarez and th extra burden of the CL games. One man team no more.

Bit worried about next season without suarez tbh, but at the same time very excited. it's hard not to be excited with this incredibly promising young squad - think sturridge and sterling especially are going to be brilliant this season. even though we will have a better squad i'd take 4th place and a decent go at the cups and the CL though - think we need one more brilliant and relatively versatile attacker to replace suarez.

What a load of rubbish we missed Suarez for ten games win 9 drew 1 Liverpool be challenging again this year unlike Manchester United who will be lucky to get a Uefa cup spot with not a decent signing all summers and a pathetic midfield

@Villa-Rich Ha, ha. Yeah, Lambert has struggled in preseason but I can see the logic of getting him, for the price, because he gives us another dimension for when we are struggling to breakthrough a midfield (Chelsea at Anfield being an example) but there is no way he should ever be a first choice striker.
I have heard rumours that the tea lady at St. Mary's makes the best damn cuppa in the league so she would be a shrewd purchase too.

@paulison don't see why he's brought Lambert. He's OK but not a top 6 player IMO. You had Carroll similar type player and Rodgers bombed him out. I think Rodgers just got obsessed with being Liverhampton. Next bid is for the Southampton tea lady.

Agreed: "One man team no more". Well said Rich!

I don't question that we do need another striker as Lambert is still looking a bit lost in the role and Borini is going whether he likes it or not, however, we do have goals in our midfield. We may not score as many as last year and the fight for top four will definitely be harder this year but I don't think you can write us off just because we no longer have Suarez. We did okay without him at the start of last season.
