MOYES NEEDS TO GO

I am now convinced Moyes needs to go before he does more damage. No matter what anyone says about the current United squad. Moyes must take the blame for their demise he is breaking all the wrong records. If the United board decide to stay with Moyes i can see the team failing to qualify for Champions League in the next few years.

One can't help but feel if he hadn't have been Scottish he would never have got the job in the first place. God he had a wrinkly face..

The biggest thing that vexes me, is that he actually thinks United played well, it tells me were going to get more of the same.

@crackentone I didn't think they would and it's still not happened (could be something to do with the New York stock exchange rules I hear). I don't think United will spend £200 mil though, and yes, this season has been a disaster.

@Doozers20 If i remember you said Uniited would not sack Moyes.....He would at least get another season. He had to go anyone with a football brain would not gamble giving this man £200m tp spend on transfer. He could not keep them in the top 4 simply not good enough.

@Villa-Rich just read it on Sky Sports, like I said would have liked to have seen if he can turn it around, but I wouldn't bee too bothered if this is true, the clubs gone too far backwards and I guess it's a little risky to give him loads of money.

Bringing in Everton back room staff to replace United back room staff was the worst of his errors in my opinion, as a manager that isn't used to winning, he could have benefitted with being surrounded by winners.

I'm intrigued as to who they'd bring in, and would hope that they choose a manager that will continue running United the way they have been.

I've said I'd like to see him given until this December and I'm sticking to that, though this is becoming harder and harder to do with performances like yesterday. I wouldn't be disappointed if he is shown the door now, question is then, who would come in?

@releasethekraken It is pretty shocking just how bad Man Utd are when you watch them.

Have to say, despite my anti-sacking stance, i think moyes has to go this summer. going from top to 7th is mainly the players' fault, and he has been unlucky with van persie being injured, but there have been no signs of improvement and he's definitely not getting anywhere near enough out of this title-winning squad. and it definitely has to be before united go on this massive spending spree that is being mooted.

@Villa-Rich difference with rodgers though is that whilst rodgers had a bad start, there were at least very encouraging signs at the start of 2013. the team started playing some great stuff for the second part of last season. so there was clear improvement. with moyes, there are literally no signs of progress yet. not to mention he inherited a title winning team and rodgers inherited a team that finished 8th.

We need massive rebuilding.. We need a complete back line..
I don't care what people say, smalling and jones are a pair of ####### Wombles...
Every game they play is a joke...
United need a whole new defence.. Stop buying attacking players until we can protect the goal

@crackentone I'd say its true Man U is a team that needs huge rebuilding I don't disagree with Moyes.

He will be given a chance to rebuild in the summer and if your still struggling for CL by xmas he will most likely be gone. At the moment it looks like to big of a job for him but I remember when some Liverpool fans were saying Rodgers weren't good enough.

His biggest excuse for being a rubbish manager is WE ARE REBUILDING..... I'm getting bored with that.

On a serious note though - I think it's risky to give a manager in Moyes's situation £100m+ to spend on transfers. It's not like United have no good players, all of the good players don't seem to want to play under Moyes. Who's to say he'll get the right players in? He's not exactly proven in the market, I mean look at Fellaini for £28m... As a manager in general, in post match interviews he always says "I think we played well, not sure how we lost" stuff like that when I think United have been ####, for example Everton 1st half yesterday. Passing it around doing nothing with the ball doesn't mean you're playing well Moyes.

I for one hope he stays. I love seeing United like this!
