Pick a 5 a side team out of your squad

Think about the players that are in the team you support, if you were asked to pick a 5 a side team (5 outfield players and a keeper, or go crazy and have a rotational keeper policy) who would you pick? Mine would be...

De Gea (the perfect keeper for this style of game, great shot stopper at his feet, also good on the ball if he wanted the odd few minutes out of net).

Ferdinand (Lacking the pace he used to have and not the defend he was, however he is still the best footballer in the defence and would be alright on the smaller pitch).

Carrick (Good passer of the ball, keeps it ticking over, and would sit back when Rio forrays forward).

Kagawa (full of movement, good quick passer of the ball in tight spaces, fast football brain)

Rooney (Best player at United in my opinion, has so much to his game, would be worth a couple of goals from distance too).

Van Persie (Lethal, makes good, fast runs forward and has a sweet left foot).

I'd have Evans, Cleverley and Januzaj rotating with them from the bench. Fellaini can cheerlead.

@jimbo1984 to be fair it probably would have but I've played in competitions that were that amount of players but called a 5 a side comp.

Although it would have made more sense to say pick a 6 aside team

@MB_Ktubes think I'd go for allen over henderson and agger over sakho but not seen enough of sakho to be honest

Cech - see the Hernandez video. Luiz - baller. Hazard - obvious. Mata - again obvious. Willian - agile, etc.

Nobody's gone for the rotating goalkeeper policy yet.

GK- Mignolet (Generally a good shot-stopper and can use his feet if need be), CB- Sakho (athletic and comfortable on the ball, CM- Jordan Henderson (decent going forward and back, applying pressure to attackers and playing passes), Phillipe Coutinho (ideal for this game, good movement and cutting passes), Suarez (made for 5-a-side surely). Agger, Sturridge and Allen rotate. Gerrard's strengths in the autumn of his career are not needed in 5-a-side

Mignolet - obvs

daniel agger - best defender we have by a mile with the ball at his feet. our most technically gifted defender IMO so ideal for 5 a side.

joe allen - only reason i picked allen is because he's a little more agile and can play intricate little passes in tight areas a bit better than henderson or gerrard.

luis suarez - the ultimate 5 a side player really. such a resourceful player, incredibly good in tight areas so he'd thrive in 5 a side and i'm sure his street smarts would come in handy.

coutinho - great dribbler. sometimes looks like the ball is glued to his feet. only worry is he's not a great finisher.

daniel sturridge - brilliant technically, and a brilliant goalscorer. has to be in the team.

John Ruddy-No Brainer

Russell Martin-rock in defence, versatile and a surprising turn of pace

Alex Tettey- Defensive minded midfielder that can make the vital challenges and link with the attacking players

Nathan Redmond- blistering pace and tricky skills

Wes Hoolahan- skillful player who would add a few goals *handed in a transfer request which was rejected today, no idea how long he'll be a Norwich player for, replacement would be Leroy Fer or Rob Snodgrass*

Gary Hooper-strong frontman with a poachers instinct and killer shot
