Poyet to Reading?
Brighton have given Gus Poyet permission to speak to Reading over their managerial vacancy according to various sources, including Sky Sports.
Neither club has commented officially on the speculation but Poyet has been backed into odds of 1/10 with several bookmakers.
The former Uruguay international took the Brighton reins in November 2009 and in his first full season in charge led the club to promotion as League One champions. He is contracted to the south coast club - currently outside the play-off places only on goal difference - until 2016.
Nigel Adkins started the day at the head of the market but has now drifted out to 11/2, while caretaker boss Eamonn Dolan and Bradford manager Phil Parkinson are both 12/1, with initial favourite Paolo Di Canio now 25/1.
Could Poyet be tempted to leave Brighton for Reading?

If you look really really deep into the black holes on his face, you will see two eyes in there. Creepy I know.

If I was in Poyet's position I'd stay at Brighton. Reading are 7 points adrift with 8 games left so he be taking a massive risk if he's looking to manage in the PL. After 8 games he could find himself back in the Championship. Brighton have looked good whenever I've seen them this season & the plays can always see a surprise package promoted.

This makes no sense... Any employee manager would be a fool to take this job, he's got a shot with brighton to push for a play off place why would he move to a club destined for relegation

I think he's better off staying at brighton to be honest. reading are a good club but they're doomed for relegation this season. why give up all the good work he's done at brighton just for a few games in the premier league before he's relegated back down to the championship?
