Scott Brown red card - correct or not?

I saw Scott Brown's sending off for Celtic tonight which ultimately cost them the match because Barcelona had been poor until then but not long after scored the only goal of the game, a header from Fabregas. What did you make of the decision to send off Brown for standing on Neymar's hand and what did you make of his ridiculous reaction to being stood on (in which he held his stomach despite it being his hand that was hurt)? Correct decision to send off Brown or not?

Was a light red card but I think it was the right decision, but saying that the 3 match ban its ridiculous

I don't think players should get red cards for something as soft as that. having said that, probably by the letter of the law he should. stupid to kick out at him like that. if you're going to kick out like that you may as well kick him harder and give the little pr!ck something to genuinely cry about, as you're bound to get caught for it somehow. poor from scott brown in more than one way.

@jimbo1984 If it was Suarez instead of Torres it would have been a 10 game ban.

You kick out on a football pitch you get sent off. The amount of contact or the over reaction is irrelevant. Definite red.

Compare why Scott brown did to Torres scratching Vertonghens face.. Yet people have argued that Torres didnt deserve anything for that.. He should have got a 4/5 match ban for that.. If anything just for how ridiculous it was.. Fair enough it want gonna seriously injure him but he purposely scratched his face because he wasn't getting his own way.

He should have kicked the #### properly and give him something to roll about for

Definite red, he tries to stand on his calf and then kicks him in the back! He exaggerated but if someone kicks you for no reason you have every right to make the most of it

To me what neymar did is lowest of the low, even lower than Ashley youngsters dives

@walshi1987 mine and your definition of a swing are very different, no more than a nudge

I think if it had been a domestic game he would have got away with it but the replay shows he did take a swing & makes slight contact with his arm. Neymar just made double sure by rolling around like he'd been kicked 20 times in the body.

Why used he do it in the first place. Deserves it in my opinion

People who dont think it was a red should get a red card from the planet

No it was an awful decision.. Yeah he flicks his leg at him but even if that hit him square in the nose it wouldn't have hurt..
