Summer 2014 transfers

It may be a bit early for this but as the transfer rumours start to heat up again, who would you like to see your club sign over this summer? Who would you also like to see leave your club? (Both transfers and retirements) Try and be realistic and use players that you've actually been linked to as well as dream signings.

Well looks like Luiz is the first big move. £50 (or even £40m as some are claiming) is a ridiculous amount of money. I love the guy but we're getting a great deal out of this.

Out: Brad Jones (not good enough), Pepe Reina (He deserves to be a starter and a fresh start elsewhere), Glen Johnson (Dreadful), Agger (Don't want him to leave but deserves to start but Skrtel and Sakho are a good partnership), Martin Kelly (Injuries have made him ineffective might as well cut our losses), Iago Aspas (Hasn't adapted), Oussama assaidi (Hasn't adapted). We need to bring in some big established players. We need a new goalkeeper to shadow Mignolet, two full backs to start, a centre half, 2 centre midfielders and a winger. So I would target the following. In: GK- Karl Darlow or Alex McCarthy, FB- Micah Richards, Ricardo Rodriguez, Marcel Schmelzer, Luke Shaw, CB- Marcos Rojo, Kyriakos Papadopolous , CM- Gorkan Inler, Fernando, Ivan Rakitic, Valon Behrami, Yann M'Villa, Mateo Kovacic, WNG- Xherdan Shaqiri, Alexis Sanchez, Adam Lallana, Yevhen Konoplyanka. Would add much needed depth. We've got Borini, Suso, Wisdom Ilori and Ibe to come back who could be useful if only for cup games.

@AFC_Harry34 - he is a good player mate, but for a top 4 side nah wouldnt have him. Callum Chambers from southampton would be a top signing for you's

@Doozers20 not many managers in the world could effectively make it work

@releasethekraken No doubting he's a quality player, just this season he's seemed to slow things down, been blaming other players for 'getting in the way.' I don't think him and Rooney have worked well together either and want Mata and Kagawa in my team.

The way I figure it, if United sold him for £15 million, he'd have cost £7 million and won a title for United. I would like him to stay though

@Jonevarro I usually think like that, but if they work on it in training I don't see why they couldn't work out a way of defending, Carvalho would be sat back anyway, possibly using a pressing game, like I said it would be altered against the better teams to incorporate more defensive players.

@Doozers20 i'm surprised you wouldn't mind van persie leaving... he's still one of the best strikers in the world IMO.

@Doozers20 you can't have Kagawa, Mata, Reus AND Januzaj in the same team. None of them are massively great at defending. One of them would have to be sacrificed.

@Jonevarro I disagree, Mata has said he likes working with Shinji and I think the 2 work well together and can form a good understanding

@Doozers20 Bayern also have like 70% of possession so don't need to worry as much! I think that second line up is more balanced (and better) than the first

@Doozers20 I missed off Shaw

@Jonevarro to be fair, Bayern often play with 5 attacking players, but against the better teams in the league, i.e. Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, City, particularly away from home I'd probably look to bring in Carrick for Kagawa and Valencia or Welbeck for Januzaj.

So it would look more like... De Gea, Rafael, Godin, Evans - Carrick, Carvalho - Reus, Mata, Valencia - Rooney

@Doozers20 that team would get ripped apart by good teams, too many attack minded players

Players I wouldn't mind seeing leave are... Lindegaard (too good for bench), Ferdinand, Evra, Anderson, Fellaini, Nani, Young and perhaps Van Persie to generate decent funds. Though if Van Gaal comes in I reckon the 2 would work well together.

Players I would like to see come in are... Shaw, a commanding centre back like Subotic or Diego Godin, a defensive midfielder, William Carvalho been mentioned, I also like Sven Bender, Khedira, and a top class winger like Reus.

I'd also like to see some of the younger players given a chance next season... i.e. Powell, Zaha, Varela, Lingard, and a young lad called Wilson I'm hearing a lot about.

As a 1st team I'd like to see something like this... De Gea, Rafael, Godin, Evans, Shaw - Carvalho, Kagawa, Mata - Reus, Januzaj, Rooney.

United could do with a whole new back 4..
Vidic, Evra , rio all likely to be gone next season and the rest are average or worse..
Would keep evans Rafael and jones but none a good enough to be in the starting line up for a top team..
Cleverly Fellaini young nani Anderson all should be shown the exit..
As for replacements...
Who knows..
A lot will depend on the manager we get..
Van gaal will make sure RVP stays and will being some top talent to the club, he's favourite at te moment and he's the man to take over in my eyes..
