Sunderland are getting relegated! What the hell is Paulo Di Canio doing?

I'm sorry Di Canio is going to get the sacked soon. What a terrible manager. He has signed Borini and sold Sunderlands top player in Sessegnon to West Brom.

Awful manager I bet he will get sacked before end of the season. They are now my favourites for relegation.

I can't see them going down tbh, I can see them struggling though.

Well said sentah!... Di Canio is an emotional car crash. Just wait until the pressure really starts. He'll throw his toys out of the pram and resign before getting the boot

@sindelar I just don't think Di Canio can handle being a Premier League manager. He's easily rattled and is prone to saying some ver outrageous things. He's already started criticizing his players that he has put in the starting 11 and we're only 3 games into the new season. Think he may be given a season to prove himself but he will get sacked if they get relegated. For them to succeed they need Gardener, Fletcher, Johnson and Larsson firing on all cylinders and I've heard they haven't been playing Gardener which is already a huge setback

@sindelar Martin O'Neill making awful expensive signing on high wages. Sounds very familiar. It's ultimately his downfall his transfer market record.

@Posford I disagree with you, give him time and then judge him, the reason why the Black Cats are in trouble now, is because Martin O´Neill made awful expensive signigns, he wasted a lot of money, and Paolo has to repair this mistakes, I´m convinced if he will get time at the Stadion of Lights he will bring success there!!!

Borini is a good signing but the team as a whole is full of players who dont know the league, long hard season for Sunderland supporters

Sunderland won't go down but it will take take for the players to get used to playing in the premiership, PDC has singed work horses and I reckon about Christmas time you will see Sunderland starting to play good football, got to give mangers and players time.

@MB_Ktubes hah gutted. Well that makes Hull and Sunderland to go down then. For me it's between Palace/West Brom/Stoke or maybe even Newcastle for that third relegation spot

@Posford Nope they pulled the plug because they didn't get Lukaku.

@MB_Ktubes didn't Long go to Hull for 5 Million? Anichebe is not a 15 goal a season striker though, maybe not even 10. Really think West Brom relied on Lukaku last year as well as Ben Foster in goal but now both aren't around at the minute. Btw digging the Alan Partridge profile pic ;)

@Posford Anichebe can be good. Could build a strong relationship with Long who's not moved as most think he has.

Having said that, I think West Brom may be dragged into it now. Can't see where the goals are gonna come from

The other clubs I thought will be relegated (Palace and Hull) have both strengthened so now I think Sunderland are at serious risk. Don't think Di Canio can deal with Premier League management, the cracks are already there

Surprised at the sale of Sessegnon but Borini and Dossena are decent signings

The worst thing about Di Canio is the way he's been publicly sl@gging his players of in interviews. Bad for team morale. He's a crack pot.

He's also signed King Egghead himself, Andrea Dossena. Which reminds me of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNG20MuBXD8

Sessegnon was really inconsistent.
