The only team in the Premier League to not win a penalty

I don't get the rules of penalties really, on Saturday, Santi Cazorla won a penalty without the defender having no contact with him at all, last night, Jonjo was clearly fouled in the box and the defender tackled his feet while the ball was in front of him. We also conceded a penalty for a handball from Joe Allen, from what I know, the penalty shouldn't have been given if the player does not intend to keep away the ball from going into the net with his hand. Last night the ball was struck 1 yard away from him with almost full force, I don't even think anyone with a fast reflex can avoid that, Allen was trying to avoid the ball yet the penalty was still given. We have been disallowed many penalty kicks for us, even the pundits agree that we should've gotten penalties, and Suarez is not the only player who is actually fouled in the box for us.

Many teams get many decisions wrong against them in matches, but Liverpool are the only team to have stonewall penalties denied for them this season.

David Jones at half time trying to tell Redknapp and Hoddle that he could have stayed on his feet. Absolute goon.

Some of these comments are laughable shelvey could have gone down just outside the box he went on did well then got taken down. The Allen pen is very harsh to say the least the player who struck the ball didn't even claim the pen tells you something really if we're giving out pens for that then I tell you what be ready for a load more its a joke not sure what people have against Liverpool seriously it really is becoming a joke

Let's just got on with the game, don't rely on penalties. If you in a position to win a penalty then your in a position to have a good at goal. Liverpool players dwell on the ball far too much when they have sight at goal

Reid made a great tackle, no pen. Allen had his arm in an unusual position which blocked the shot = penalty.

Allen's hand was a penalty everyday I think. He flung his hand in the air and was unlucky to hit it but don't be dumb and leave ur hand out like that, a handball should be a handball unless it's hammered at you and ur hands are down. Shelvey was fouled but we won so I'm not gonna wine, I'll wait till it matters to complain.

Guy won the ball, ball couldnt have moved the way it did if he didnt win the ball there, and lets face it suarez is the reason you's dont win penalites. as for the handball yesterday, it was unlucky but his hands came up i think you would find this would have been a penalty no matter who was playing. jus a bit of bad luck sometimes in terms of the penalty situation for liverpool

Ok this is now beyond the joke it's crazy why are we not getting pens?? Jonjo does well stays on his feet is then smart in the box turns attempts to get a shot off fouled nothing given did he dive? At for Rodgers they don't rate him if that had been sir Alex, wenger or a recognised manager the team would eventually get a pen what do we had to do there treating Liverpool like we're a small club.

Most of the time the referee is in two minds- especially with Suarez as he often doesn't get booked when he goes down in the box, however a penalty isn't given either, tbh, I think Suarez needs to work on his technique when he goes down, it isn't convincing at all, also, Brendan Rodgers also exaggerates and plays up these things when he looks for excuses, the dembele challenge on Gerrard was for most people a fantastic challenge, and he'd have been saying that if it was the other way around

@Baldersmith To be honest I don't think he did get any of the ball - not when seen from the reverse angle at least. Mates frequently call me a whinging Scouser but Probert was appauling yesterday: he gave one that wasn't, denied one that was and where did five minutes injury time come from? However, I'm sure I'll be just another whinging Scouser for highlighting those issues.

Winston Reid got some of the ball, having said that, had it been Martin Skrtel making the tackle on Kevin Nolan I'm sure a penalty would have been given.

It's becoming a concern. And it's mostly centred around the Suarez witchhunt. He goes down easily when clipped but why not? I can only think of one "questionable" incident (Stoke) this season where it could be argued that he dived rather than went down easily. I can think of three Bale incidents off the top of my head!
