Wenger 1000

Saturday's game against Chelsea will be Arsene Wenger's 1000th in charge of Arsenal. Got to respect the man for staying at Arsenal for so long. His teams have always played attractive football and the club has been run the correct way throughout his tenure. He's been brilliant at Arsenal (don't think any Arsenal fans would disagree) - despite people bringing up "8 years without a trophy blah blah" or certain Portuguese wánkers calling him a "specialist in failure". Let's hope - in his 1000th game in charge - he finally shuts Mourinho up and ends his unbeaten PL record at the Bridge. For the good of football.

@Villa-Rich Again... Bought not brought. Bayern spend a lot. PSG spend a lot. Madrid spend a lot. Barca spend a lot. City spend a lot. UCL is filled with teams that spend a lot, therefore no one teams "buys" the success.

@Jonevarro OK grammar police haha. Your success is hollow because it was brought not earnt. How much money did you have to spend to win the Champions league since Roman brought Chelsea and saved you from oblivion, ridiculous. Chelsea's success will never be respected.

@Villa-Rich I believe it's bought not brought. How does that make it hollow? People don't say "Oh those trophies don't count", complete pish. Chelsea also won trophies before Roman came, we wouldn't have gone into admin, someone would have bought us, a passionate Russian just so happened to.

@Jonevarro Chelsea's trophies will always be remembered as hollow and not earned. Just brought your success with a Russians money when you should have gone into administration.

@Villa-Rich Trophies: 19 for chelsea 11 for arsenal. You're not remembered for how much money you saved, you're remembered for the trophies you win.

Classic Arsenal. They've never got the legs to carry on the title winning form throughout the whole season.

Wenger had been brilliant for arsenal but people bring up the fact he's won nothing in so long for a reason.. Chelsea will beat arsenal and mourinho will prove his comment to be true..
He's a wind up merchant but he backs it up with results..

@releasethekraken he used to be good but I'm sorry, 500 games and no trophies for a club like arsenal is atrocious

@Jonevarro a man who led a team to an unbeaten premier league season is a "specialist in failure"? tough crowd.

Hasn't won a single trophy in his last 500 games... Specialist in failure seems pretty apt. Can't use not spending money as an excuse they've had chances to win other silverware, for example against Birmingham.
