When will Leeds united once again be in the premier league?

It's been a very long 8 years for Leeds United fans since their teams demise from the premier league. With the 3-7 hammering by the hands of Nottingham Forest midweek, it seems yet another season in the championship is looming. When will Leeds finally get back to the top flight?

Don't understand what people are talking about with Warnock? One of the most proven managers at getting teams promoted? Fair enough he's crap in the Premier League like, but you can't argue with his record. Having said that, whether Warnock and Leeds will be a good partnership remains to be seen. Leeds back in the Premier League? I can't see it being for another 3 years at least.

Not with Warnock in charge. Proper muppet. That is the most hated affiliation in football at the moment Leeds United and Neil Warnock. Jesus Christ. I thought Grayson was a good manager but obviously not good enough for Leeds' standards. I think Snodgrass and Becchio will move on which is a big chunk out of your attack after losing Johnson and Howson to Nawrich too. I can't see it next year unless they keep hold of those two.

No idea when Leeds are gonna get back to the premier league, I went to see Leeds v Watford and I can't see them getting there for at least 5 years, the standard of football was dreadful.

@mrsentah I may be wrong, but fairly certain Leeds are doing better now than QPR were when Warnock took over.

@bentempest I can not agree. I really think Warnock is not the right man. He only got QPR up because they were already in a good position. Leeds are not...

I think this season is a taster of things to come next season when they build a team to get promoted!!!

I can see Leeds going up next year. Some fairly weak teams coming down potentially; not the typical bounce-straight-back clubs. Warnock is the promotion king. Hang on to Snodgrass et al., give Colin the chequebook and they're away.

Every year I keep saying Leeds look good and wont be long until they are in the prem. Fingers, toes, arms & eyes crossed that This Year it will happen!!! But as mrsentah said Neil Warnock ain't the man!!!!! :shut:

They seemed close about 2 seasons ago but the sale of some key players has put them at a stand still.... Currently I dont think Warnock is the man as he doesnt have the funds, correct me if im wrong! Seem's like there's alot of work to do & I can't see Snodgrass being there much longer either

Won't be to long till there back in the prem, as @Rulz03 says they need to spend a bit of money to get a few quality players to help out players like Bechhio and Snodgrass and they especially need a couple of solid defenders. Think it'll be close either next season or the season after for promotion but your still in the hunt for the play offs

I hoped it would be this season as i put a bet on them at the start of the season but looks unlikely now! But i think they dont look a patch on what they were when they had beckford so i think they may have missed their chance unless they spend abit of money but then again Leicester spent alot and they havent done as good as everyone first thought
